Track of the Day #5: DarkTwaine_ – ‘Good Antennae’

The track starts with the sound of gentle waves rolling up the shore with low keys coming in, loosely matching the rhythm of the waves. Before fading out into silence… 

This silence is disrupted by a sample of a Civil-Rights era speech about the strength and status of black Americans. The sample then breaks into synths which loop as they trip over themselves. As the synth trips over itself it gradually climbs higher and a pattern forms in the chaos. Whilst the irregularity of the best is unusual, it is relaxing rather than jarring.  Slowly more synths are introduced, sporadic beeps which all combine to make a wall of sound which encapsulates the listener. And then it just fades out…
